Rachel House is a three-bed residential family assessment centre situated in Sunderland. We provide a nurturing and non-judgemental environment in which residents can safely be given the opportunity to demonstrate their parenting capacity as required by the court or local authority. We provide a place of safety where children can grow and thrive during the 12 -week assessment process and begin to develop attachments and memories with their parents. 

We operate under the Residential Family Centres National Minimum Standards 2013 and Residential Family Centres Regulations 2002, which form the basis of the regulatory framework under the Care Standards Act 2000
